Found in Para state of Brazil in forests at elevations around 160 meters as a small sized, hot growing, fasciculate epiphyte with a fan of fleshy, knife shaped, imbricate, green, membraneous margins, conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the summer on an axillary, longer than the leaves, peduncle thin, green, provided with persistent, triangular, acute bracts, suberect, successively 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence with persistent, triangular, acute floral bracts.
