Found in Zamora-Chinchipe province of Ecuador at elevations around 1600 to 2000 meters as a cool growing epiphyte with a monopodial, pendent stem enveloped completely by greenish red covered in red pustules, conduplicate, closely set, equitant, obliquely triangular, acute leaves that blooms at mopst any time of the year on an axillary, pendent, to 1" [2.5 cm] long, capitate, 5 top 7 flowered inflorescence carrying hyaline flowers.
