Common Name or Meaning The Wonderful Macroclinium

Found in Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, Brazil and Peru at elevations around 100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with an abbreviated stem carrying equitant, closely imbricated, 2 to 3 on each side, obliquely linear-oblong, linear-lanceolate or elliptic-linear, commonly strongly falcate-recurved, acute to subobtuse, unjointed at base leaves that blooms on a filiform, erect to slightly arcuate, exceeding the leaves, paniculate, 1 to 1.4" [2.5 to 3.5 cm] long, 1 to few flowered inflorescence with minute, ovate, concave floral bracts. .
