Common Name or Meaning Blume's Malaxis [Dutch Botanist early 1800's]
Flower Size .3" [7.5 mm]
Found in penninsular Malaysia, Java, Borneo, and the Philippines at elevations of 500 to 1400 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem carrying darker above, paler beneath, 5 to 7 veined leaves that blooms on a 12" [30 cm] long, peduncle to 3.2" [8 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence.
