Found in Sulawesi in montane forsts on ridgetops at elevations of 900 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with purple suffused leaves that are often purple spotted beneath and blooms in the fall and later winter on a pendent, 1.2 to 3.2" [3 to 8 cm] long, to 20 flowered inflorescence
