Common Name The Chameleon Malaxis

Flower Size .2" [5mm]

Found in Thailand, Malaysia and Sumatra at elevations around 1800 meters as a miniature to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an almost globose psuedobulb carrying 1 to 2, if two the second is much smaller, ellitic to oblong, shiney green, acute, basally clasping leaves with 3 broad,longitudinal brownish purple lines that blooms on an erect, to 6" [to 15 cm] long, to 20 flowered inflorescence carrying wide open flowers.
