Found in Sulawesi in montane forests at elevations of 1000 to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial with dark green pseudobulbs carrying 3 to 6, thin, plicate, gradually narrowing below intot he pale green sheaths that blooms at most any time of the year on an erect, terminal, successively 2 to 5, many flowered inflorescence.
