Found on Mindoro of the Philippines on Mt Halcon in forests at elevations around 700 meters as a small sized, warm growing terrestrial with ovate acuminate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, graceful, longer than the leaves, peduncle 2 to 3.8" [6 to 10 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with triangular-linear, acute bracts and carrying pale purple flowers.
