Found in Sumatra at elevations around 1300 meters as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with a long, creeping, rooting, leafy stem carrying about 11, obliquely oblong, acuminate, acute, very oblique at the base, undulate higer up, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, terminal, narrowly winged, peduncle to 2.8" [7 cm] long, rachis to 2.8" [7 cm] long as well, successively many flowered inflorescence.
