Found in Java in primary forests on ridges or in montane scrub at elevations of 900 to 2100 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cold growing terrestrial with 3 to 6, broadly lanceolate, acute, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, peduncle to 1.6" [4 cm] long, to 12" [30 cm] long overall, many flowereds inflorescence.
