Common Name The Flame-Like Malleola [refers to the colors of the flower]

Found in the Philippines at elevations around 1200 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with a pendulous stem carrying leathery, oblong to lanceolate, distinct mid rib, acute, unequally bilobed green to purplish green leaves that blooms in the fall on a pendulous, occasionally branching at the lowermost node, to 9.2" [23 cm] long, to 48 flowered inflorescence.
