Common Name Honhoff's Robiquetia [Dutch miniature orchid enthusiast, 1942 - 2007]

Found in Sabah and Sarawak Borneo in ridge forests and primary montane forests at elevations of 800 to 1300 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing, pendent epiphyte with a slightly compressed stem carrying 3 to 4, the largest, oblong, stiff, leathery, green with maroon spots and maroon suffused margins, underside suffused wqith purtple, apex obtuse, , unequally bilobed leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on a lateral, from the basal part of the astem, descending, peduncle '6 to .8" [1,5 to 2 cm] long, pale greenish pink with darker pink spots, 2.6" [6.5 cm] long overall, rachis indistinctly ribbed, mostly simultaneously 40 flowered inflorescence
