Common Name Maximowicz's Malaxis {Russian Botanist and explorer 1800's]

Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in the eastern Himalayas, Sikkim, Assam, and northern Thailand at elevations around 600 to 1400 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with pseudobulbs carrying lanceolate-ellipitc, acute leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, to 12" [30 cm] long, numerous flowered inflorescence with linear-lanceolate floral bracts.
