Found in Java and Sumatra in humid forests at elevations of 600 to 1000 meters as a small sized, warm growing terrestrial with a stem carrying 5 to 9, towards the base, 3 main veined towards the center, 2 fainter veins towards the wavy margins, shining bronze to copper above, narrowly ellipitc, acute, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late summer and fall on an erect, terminal, to 11.2" [28 cm] long, numerous flowered inflorescence with linear, vary acute floral bracts.
