Found in eastern Java on montane slopes at elevations of 880 to 1220 meters as a small to just medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a stem carrying 4 to 6, well spaced, 5 main nerved, obliquely oblong-lanceolate, long acuminate, pale green, undulate margins, gradually narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms in the mid winter on an erect, terminal, to 8" [20 cm] long, loosely many flowered inflorescence leaves
