Found in the Moluccas and Sulawesi at elevations of 1100 to 1200 meter as a miniature sized, cool growing terrestrial with long, dark green pseudobulbs carrying 4 to 6, thin, plicate, green above, silvery-green beneath leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer and in the winter on an erect, terminal, successively 9, many flowered inflorescence .
