Found in the Philippines as a small sized terrestrial with an erect, short, thick stem carrying 3, lanceolate, smooth, 5 veined, shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a slender, 4.4 to 7.2" [11 to 18 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with linear-lanceolate floral bracts.
