Found in Kenya and Tanzania on mossy tree branches at elevations of 1500 to 2350 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with erect to pendant, short stems carrying 3 to 6, distichous, slightly falcate, ligulate, unequally bilobed apically, basally twisted leaves that blooms in the spring on several, below the leaves, 3" [7.5 cm] long, finely wiry, 3 to 8 flowered inflorescence
