Common Name The Little White Masdevallia

Found in southeastern Ecuador to northeastern Peru at elevations of 900 to 1750 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, tubular sheaths and carrying a singel, erect, coriaceous, narrowly obovate, subacute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a suberect, slender, 1.4 to 1.6" [3.5 to 4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with a bract at the base and a tubular floral bract.
