Common Name Brockmeuller's Masdevallia [German Orchid Enthusiast current]

Found in Colombia without locality as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with erect, slender, blackish ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, acute, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, slender, to 2.8 to 4.4" [7 to 11 cm] long, single flowered inflroescence arising from low on the ramicaul holding the flower at the apex of the leaves with a tubular floral bract.
