Found in Guatemala as a miniature to small sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with erect, furrowed ramicauls enveloped by 2 close, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, coriaceous, lanceolate, gradually narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the late spring, summer and early fall on a terete, slender, to 1.2" [3 cm] long, horizontal to ascensing, with 3 imbricate, short, loose, basal bracts, sucessively single, 2 flowered inflorescence with a tubular, acuminate, shorter than the ovary floral bract
CAUTION Similar to and often cited as a synonym of M floribunda, I am keeping them separate pending more research
