Found in Peru as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte? with blackish, erect, slender ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, subacute to obtuse, gradually narrows below into the slender, blackened petioleate base leaf that blooms at any time of the year if happy on an erect, slender, single flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with a bract near the base and a tubular floral bract
