Common Name The Single Flowered Maxillaria

Flower Size 1.5" [3.75 cm]

Found in Espirito Santo state of Brazil with ovoid, rugose with age pseudobulbs enveloped basally by several imbricating sheaths and carrying a single apical, linear-lanceolate, acute, conduplicate below into the base leaf that blooms in the fall on a basal, 3" [7.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with several loose, acute bracts.
