Found in Colombia without collection data as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with stout, erect ramicauls enveloped by a loose, tubular sheath and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, elliptical, obtuse to rounded, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a slender, erect, 4.4 to 4.8" [11 to 12 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with a bract near the base and with a tubular floral bract.
