Common Name The Insignificant Masdevallia

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in northern Venezuela on or near the coast as a miniature sized epiphyte without collection data with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical-obovate, obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a slender, suberect to almost horizontal, 1.8" [4.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with a bract above the base and a tubular floral bract.
