Found in Colombia without locational data as a miniature sized epiphyte? with erect, furrowed ramicuals enveloped by 3, close, scarious, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, straight, slender, terete, to 4" [to 10 cm] long, successively single, 2 flowered inflorescence with a plicate-tubular, close floral bract and holding the flower at leaf height.
