Found in the Leeward and Windwards Islands as a small to medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with a long, scandent, branching rhizome enveloped by imbricate scarious sheaths and giving rose to remote, ovoid, slightly compressed pseudobulbs carrying 1 [2?] apical, coriaceous, oblong, basally canaliculate, asymetrically acute leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on an axillary, short, fasciculate, long-pedunculate, single flowered inflorescence.
