Found in Costa Rica at elevations around 1350 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a branching stem somewhat like a brush, with .8" [2 cm] between each conical, corrugated pseudobulb subtended by 3 to 4, foliaceous sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, acicular, cylindrical, obtuse leaf that blooms at most any time of the year on a .4" [1 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying campanulate, pale yellow flowers.
