Found in Napo province of Ecuador at elevations of 180 to 300 meters as a small sized, hot, pendent growing epiphyte with a monopodial, occasionally branching stem enveloped entirely by imbricating sheaths giving rise at intervals to elliptic, pseudobulbs carrying 1 to 3, apical, terete, linear, blunt, rounded to acute leaf that blooms on basal, to 1.2" [to 3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
