Flower Size 1 1/4" [3 cm]
Found in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil and Venezuela in rain and cloud forests at elevations of 200 to 2100 meters as a variable sized hot to cool growing epiphyte with an ovoid-ellipsoid, smooth pseudobulb subtended by several scarious sheaths and has a single, apical, oblanceolate, curved leaf that is condulicate towards the base that blooms in the summer and fall on a basal, from the imbricating basal sheaths, 5" [12.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with several sacrious, tubular bracts.
