Common Name The Nose-like Maxillaria
Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]
Found in Venezuela in lowland forests at elevations around 1500 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with oblong, compressed, 3 to 4 grooved pseudobulbs carrying oblong, acute, leaves that blooms in the spring on a short, single flowered inflorescence holding the flowers within the leaves.
