Found in Cuba, Jamaica, Doninican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico and the Leeward Islands as a small to just medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte with pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, oblong, acute, coriaceous, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later fall and earlier winter on a lateral, hanging, .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence
