Found in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, French Guiana, Surinam, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru in cloud forests at elevations of 700 to 1800 meters as a warm to cool growing epiphyte with .4 to 7.6" [1 to 19 cm] between each subglobose, ellipsoid to ovoid, compressed pseudobul enveloped by a few, disitchous, imbricate, leaf-bearing sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, subcoriaceous, linear-lanceolate, narrowly oblong or oblong, oblique, acute or shortly acuminate apically, attenuate below into the pseudopetiolate base leaf that blooms on many, short, axillary, .4 to .6" [1 to 1.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence

CAUTION I am not sure of this determination! Lip is reflexed and should be cupped. Use with extreme caution!!!!
