Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in Colombia and Ecuador at elevations around 150 to 500 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with ovoid-ellipsoid, compressed pseudobulbs enveloped by papery sheaths and carrying a single, apical, narrowly elliptic, acute, long petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on subsessile, peduncle less that .8" [2 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying upward facing, cupped flowers.
