Found in Costa Rica in very wet and pluvial forests at elevations of 1000 to 1400 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with .6" [1.5 cm] between each ovoid to oblong pseudobulb carrying a single apical, erect, linear-ligulate, obtuse to emarginate apically leaf that blooms on a basal from the pseudobulbs, thin, 2.4 to 3.2" [6 to 8 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying rigid flowers
