Found in Peru as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with distant, cylindrical-elliptic to oval, compressed pseudobulbs enveloped basally by a pair of membraneous, mucronate sheaths and carrying 2, apical, erect, elliptic-oblong, broadly rounded apically, cuneate below into the conduplicate base leaves that blooms on short, single flowered inflorescence enveloped completely by 3 acute bracts and carries campanulate, rather fleshy, small flowers
