Found in Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia at elevations of sea level to 300 meters in low lying areas and swamps often in shallow water as a miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a filiform, often yellow green, solid leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 2 to 5" [5 to 12.5 cm] long, 2 to 40 flowered inflorescence with densely packed, slightly fragrant flowers.
