Common Name Callejas' Microchilus [Co-collector of Type Current]

Flower Size

Found only in the department of Antioquia Colombia at elevations around 2800 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with an erect, terete, leafy stem carrying 5, 1 to 2 leaves displaced on peduncle, obliquely oblong to ovate lanceolate, subacuminate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, terminal, pubescent, 15 to 17.4" [37.5 to 43.5 cm] long overall, peduncle 9 to 10.2" [22.5 to 25.5 cm] long, rachis 6 to 7.2" [15 to 18 cm] long, laxly to sublaxly many flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acute floral bracts and carrying externally pubescent, white flowers.
