Found in northern and northwestern Madagascar on branches in humid evergreen forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a stem giving rise to many roots to 8" [20 cm] long that blooms in the later spring on up to 4 simultaenous, erect, spreading, to .6" [1.5 cm] long, 10 to 12 flowered inflorescence with small bracts and carrying erect, spreading, whitish tinged with carmine rose flowers.
