Found in Madagascar in rainforests near streams at elevations of sealevel to 1000 meters on branches as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with cylindrical roots blooming in the summer through fall on up to 5 to 8, simultaneous, very short, rigid, upright to spreading, 3 to 8 flowered inflorescence with subacute to mucronate, sheathing, indistinctly 3 nerved basally, single nerved apically bracts arising and carrying simultaneously opening, non-scented flowers.
