Found in southern Malawi in dry deciduous forests at elevations of 480 to 600 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a short stem giving rise to green with white pneumophores, flattened with a slight ridge on top, tightly clinging roots that blooms in the late spring on 1 to 4, 1.2 to 2.8" [3 to 7 cm] long, zigzag, 5 to 17 flowered inflorescence with blackish bracts.
