Found on Palawan within the Philippines as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with an elongate terete, leafy stem carrying ligulate to linear-ligulate, obtuse to slightly unequally obtusely bilobed, coriaceous leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, peduncle to 3.48 to 3.8" [8.7 to 9.5 cm] long, 3, lax, tubular, obliquely truncate sheathing bracts, rachis 2.2 to 4.88" [5.5 to 12.2 cm] long, 4.6 to 8" [15 to 21 cm] long overall, laxly 14 to 18 flowered inflorescence with broadly ovate-triangular, acute floral bracts and carrying fleshy, non-resupinate flowers
