Found in Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam at elevations around 220 to 1000 meters as a small to just medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a glabrous stem enveloped by dark, rugose sheaths and carrying about 10, distichous, elliptic to oblong-linear, strong central midrib, unequally bilobed apically, constriction near apex, conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the winter on a racemose, 6.8 to 9.2" [17 to 23 cm] long overall, peduncle 4 to 6" [10 to 15 cm] long, provided with 2 to 3, broadly triangular, obtuse, fleshy bracts, rachis 3.2 to 4" [8 to 10 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence.
