Common Name The Sand Loving Microtis - Notched Onion Orchid

Flower Size 1/8" [.3 cm]

Found in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and New Zealand at elevations of sea level to 500 meters in coastal habitats in sand or well drained clay loams as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, to 20" [50 cm] tall, 10 to 60 flowered inflorescence with successively opening, crowded flowers.
