Common Name The Medium Large Microtis - The Western Onion Orchid
Flower Size .12 to .14" [3 to 3.5 mm]
Found in southwest Western Australia at elevations of 10 to 400 meters in coastal and inland area streams, ephemeral watercourses, swamps and granite outcrops as a medium to large sized, cold growing terrestrial with a thin, onion-like, hollow leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 8 to 22.4" [20 to 56 cm] long, 10 to 100 flowered inflorescence with densely packed flowers.
