Found in Malaysia in hill forests on the forest floor at elevations of 450 to 1000 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with an erect, cylindrical pseduobulbish stem carrying a single, cordate, acuminate, undulate marginally leaf that blooms in the spring on a basal, erect, 12" [30 cm] long, to 10 simultaneously flowered inflorescence with recurved bracts
