Found in Peru and Bolivia in low wet montane forests at elevations around 650 to 690 meters as a medium growing, warm growing epiphyte with conical-cylindrical pseudobulbs that blooms on a mature pseudobulb without leaves in the late summer on an erect, racemose, green with rose, 8" [20 cm] long, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence with greenish-white, ovate, much shorter than the ovaries floral bracts
