Common Name Hoehne's Mormodes [Brazilian Botanist 1900's]

Found in Rondonia Brazil in Amazon rainforests at elevations around 100 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with close set, elliptic-lanceolate to fusiform, slightly compressed laterally pseudobulbs carrying numerous, oblong-lanceolate, acute, narrowing below into the pseudo-petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall and early winter on an erect, arising from the nodes on the lower half of the pseudobulb, to 4.8" [to 12 cm] long, to 35 flowered inflorescence with the flowers held in a dense, apical cluster.
