Common Name The Salvadorian Mormodes

Found in El Salvador at elevations of 700 to 1400 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with conical, slightly compressed pseudobulbs carrying 6, plicate, acuminate narrowly elliptic leaves that are present at blooming in the fall on a lateral, near basal, terete, green, to 3.2" [8 cm] long, to 8 flowered inflorescence

This species is a natural hybrid between M aromatica and M lineata.
