Found in Huanuco Peru in cloud forests on exposed slopes at elevations around 2800 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with narrowly ovoid, somewhyat compressed pseudobulbs enveloped by bracts with the uppermost being subfoliaceous, carrying a single, oblanceolate, long-attenuate below to the channeled petiolate base leaf that blooms in the later winter on axillary, to 6" lax, paniculate, several flowered inflorescence carrying campanulate, adpressed to the rachis flowers
